It looks like the Beta for Rojo has finally ended. I’ve been using the on-line news reader for several weeks now. Unfortunately, there is something about it that I just don’t like. Perhaps I’m spoiled by NetNewsWire and other client-side applications. I think the idea of sharing interesting feeds among your friends/contacts is a good one and the new site-layout is much improved from when I first joined the beta. I guess I just prefer client-side apps for news reading — this is why I never really got into Kinja. Oh well.

Pictures from my weekend trip to Venice are on-line. Unfortunately, I’ve exceeded the limit on my free flickr account so not all of the pictures are up yet. Once I get it sorted out, I’ll put the remainder up.
I had a great time in Venice, though it would’ve been nice to bring the family. That just means we’ll have to go back.

Yesterday I attended the FIA/GT WTCC in Monza, Italy. It was great fun and when I return to the US, I’ll post better pictures to flickr. Until then, I’ve posted pictures from my Nokia 3650 and linked to several videos below. Enjoy.

I’m leaving for the airport to go to Milan. It will be nice to see my colleagues in the Monza office since it’s been almost two years since I last visited. I’ll try to post pictures to flickr during the trip.
