		<description>Denise,

What you should be mad at your husband for is getting the Verizon whole house DVR converter instead of separate converters in place you have a TV. I have two HD DVR converters, two HD converters, and one standard converter and couldn't be happier.

The Verizon FiOS TV is SO FAR superior to Cox that it's a joke to compare (and I thought we had a great signal/picture with Cox). The TV, Internet and Phone bundle for us saves $111/mo for the EXACT same service (but with more channels and more HD channels)...and...the picture is way better.

		<description>Denise,

The DVR service is certainly no TiVO, though one feature that FiOS has that Cox did not offer when I last used it was the ability to view recorded content on any of the set top boxes in the house.

My wife and I schedule many of our recordings from our bedroom, so we installed our DVR box there. If you pay for an additional DVR box you can record two shows per box at a time.

It took us about two months to get used to the FiOS TV. I was immediately pleased with the internet service -- though Verizon recently installed their own DNS wildcard records so anytime you go to a non-existent website you end up being redirected to a Verizon portal, which I find extremely annoying.
